Buffalo Comhaltas is sponsoring a Spring Céilí (KAY-lee), an Irish social dance, on Friday, April 20th, 2012.  The dance will be held at the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Rd, Buffalo, NY 14220, from 8:00-11:30pm.  Price of admission is $10 for adults, ($8 for Comhaltas members), $5 for students with ID, and accompanied children under the age of 16 are admitted for free. Complimentary refreshments will be served at intermission. 

Get ready to dance your cares away with us as we kick up our heels to the spirited and lively dance music of our very talented Comhaltas musicians.

Infant of Prague Parish is hosting its first annual

Come and celebrate mass in the Irish tradition with a bit of the ancient Irish language and fantastic music by Kindred.  Then join us for a delicious full Irish breakfast with eggs, rashers, bangers, pudding, soda bread and…Real Irish Coffee!  Traditional Irish music and set dance with Buffalo Comhaltas traditional Irish musicians.  Try out your “luck of the Irish” at the Basket Raffle table and learn your name in Irish too!

Great Guinness Toast!

The annual Guinness Toast Festival to benefit the Buffalo Irish Center will take place on Friday, February 17 starting at 6PM.  

Entertainment will be provided by many of WNY’s finest Irish groups including:

Penny Whiskey, The Leftovers, Blarney Bunch, Poor Ould Goat, Stone Row, Dustmen, McCarthyizm, Crikwater, Lochside Celtic Band, Reardon & Garvey, Clancy Bros. Tribute Band, Cairde (Featuring Tim and Diana Straube!), Rush the Growler, and Rince na Tiarna Dancers.

Food will be available for purchase. Chinese auctions and door prizes will add to the festivities. This annual event features music in all 3 rooms of the Buffalo Irish Center. The highlight of the night is the Guinness Toast held at 11PM all over the World.

Internationally renowned Irish dance master Patrick O’Dea will instruct a set dance workshop sponsored by Buffalo Comhaltas on Tuesday February 28^th 2012.  

Price of admission is $20 General Public/$15 CCE members/$10 students with school ID.  Pre-Sale tickets are available from Bridget English (536-0490) or at martinwynne@comhaltas.net.

Price of admission is $10 for adults ($8 for Comhaltas members), $5 for students, and accompanied children under the age of 16 admitted for free.

Get ready to dance your cares away with us as we kick up our heels to some great LIVE traditional Irish music from our very own Buffalo Comhaltas musicians. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to attend.

Delicious complimentary refreshments will be served during the break. A special fund raising split club will also be held.

Echoes of Erin – The 2011 Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann Concert Tour of North America is back in Buffalo!  Performing at O’Connell & Company at Erie Community College North - Gleasner Hall, 6205 Main Street (theater entrance on Youngs between Main and Wehrle) Williamsville, New York 14221 on Sunday, October 16th, 2011 at 2pm.

Direct from Ireland for one show only! A colorful and exciting show of Traditional Irish Music, Song, Dance, and Humor featuring a troupe of All-Ireland Award winning performers.  It’s been seven long years since this show has been in Buffalo, don’t miss out!
